Care & Feeding for Lisa's Pottery
My pottery likes to be lightly oiled before its first use, and periodically thereafter. Best choice is olive oil, but any cooking oil will do. As much as possible, avoid having the pottery come into prolonged contact with lemon or lime juice, as their acidic nature can stain the surface. Periodic oiling helps prevent that. This is less of an issue with glass-bottomed plates and servers.
Note: Every piece I produce is slightly different in some way from the others of its kind, and may not match exactly the photos you see here. I do my best to have pieces come out with a consistent look, but slight variations are inevitable.
